Terms and Conditions

Payments and Deposits:

Bowtique Chair Covers Ltd require a minimum of £40.00 non-refundable deposit, per item hired to secure your booking. Final number of Chairs and accessories needed for the event are due 28 days before and full payment due 21 days before the event.

Cancellation:

Bowtique Chair Covers will only accept cancellation of any event in writing from the customer or if necessary by Bowtique Chair Covers themselves. Cancellation will result in the forfeit of the deposit or full amount 28 days prior to event.

General:

Should we be required to dress an event outside of working hours, which are 8am – 5pm, or if the event is booked on a bank holiday then there maybe additional costs. Please contact Bowtique Chair Covers for more information.

It is not Bowtique Chair Covers job to set out the event, if chairs need arranging or unstacking you will have to sort this with your venue. If it is necessary for us to have to arrange and unstack chairs there will be an additional cost of 50p per chair.

It is your responsibility to arrange the amount of chairs needed, we will only cover what is there for us. If your event includes a ceremony, then it is your responsibility to arrange with the venue any extra chairs needed and to add this to your final amounts.

Chair Covers:

The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the sashes or the covers whilst on loan and until their satisfactory return. A £8.00 charge will be made for any chair cover or table overlay that is not returned or in an unusable condition. A £2.00 charge will be made for any sash that is not returned or in an unusable condition. These charges cover any costs in replacing the items.

Hire of other items:

The hirer is responsible for loss and damage to other items whilst on loan up until their satisfactory return. A replacement charge will be made for each unreturned item or each item which is returned in an unusable condition. It is the hirer’s responsibility that all hired goods are insured against loss or damage.

Insurance:

It is hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the hired items are fully covered by either their own insurance or the venues insurance with regard to public liability risks. Bowtique Chair Covers will not be held liable with respect to any claims made by any person for the death, personal injury or damage caused by or in conjunction with hired items from Bowtique Chair Covers including fitting services.

Marketing:

All events will be photographed after setup and may be used in Bowtique Chair Covers future marketing through their website, social media or any other paper marketing. Any objections should be made to Bowtique Chair Covers before the event.

Adverse weather conditions:

We cannot accept responsibility for any of our items that are used outside should they be damaged or affected by the weather conditions after we have left them. In adverse weather conditions it is Bowtique Chair Covers decision not to deliver/setup hired goods to the venue if it jeopardises the safety of the staff. Bowtique Chair Covers will endeavour to get the hired goods to the venue and exhaust every option before cancellation of the booking. It is the hirer’s responsibility to make sure hired goods are insured for such incidences. As a good will gesture we would be happy to move the event up to 6 months subject to availability.

Retention of title:

All goods remain the absolute property of the company and the customer undertakes not to sell, offer to sell, assign charge, pledge or underlet, lend, or otherwise deal with the products unless agreed otherwise with the company.

Changes to an order:

You can make changes up to 28 days before the event. Significant changes may change the quote you originally obtained. We do have a minimum spend requirement of £150.00 for venues within our 20-mile radius and £200.00 outside. Once invoice has been paid we are unable to offer any refund on any unwanted goods, but can offer exchanges subject to stock. Items can be added as long as they are in stock at any point.

Collection:

Bowtique Chair Covers will collect the hired items in the days after the event has taken place from the event location or form a confirmed in advanced location. Goods must be ready and available for collection in sacks/boxes provided at the agreed time. Any failed collections will be charged for accordingly.

Returns:

If agreed that the hirer will return the hired items, all items must be received at the agreed location by 5pm 2 days after the event unless stated otherwise in writing. Late returns charged at £10.00 per day.

These terms and conditions will be in place as of 01-05- 2016 and replace any old terms and conditions. By confirming your booking and paying your deposit you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
